Hi Experts,
I came across a scenario where i need to migrate an already running SAP system (RQA) on another host on which another CI (PRD) is running. I have taken below mentioned steps to do the same and i could startup both SAP system on single host. While starting up 2nd system i came across a dump which says multiple enqueue running in SICK. I hassed out the enqueue work process parameter "rdisp/enqname" in default profile and then this dump gets corrected. As of now we are able to start both system but when i checked in sm51 tx i found that both system (PRD and RQA) are appearing there. again SM12 is redirecting us to login screen of PRD system. I could not understand why RQA entry is appearing in PRD SM51 ( i mn why RQA is taken up as application server of PRD). Please suggest how to correct this.
Steps for migration:
1)Changed PID and GID of all files in RQA according to GID/PID of PRD server (for ids rqaadm/orarqa/sapsys/dba)
2)created mount points for RQA system in host in which it is to be migrated
3)restored mount points from host1 to host2
4)Migrated instance of RQA from "00" to "01" as "00" was already occupied by PRD system.
5)Entered entry of (sapmsRQA 3601/tcp) to services file.
6) Entered tns and listener name in respective files.
7)Changed Profiles files/env files of RQA according to new host name .
8)Started both systems
In case of new installation of multiple system on single host there wouldn't have been any problem but since we have to migrate an existing system from one host to another one we are doing every thing manual and perhaps i am missing some step here .
Thanks
