How to assign notification number to maintenance order objectlist?

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to assign newly created notification number against functional location in the object list of maintenance order. Please let me know if any BAPI / FM is there to add it or is there any other way to create and link a notification against functional location in object list.

I tried BAPI 'ISU_SMNOTIF_ASSIGNTOORDER'. This BAPI is appending new lines to the object list but not modifying the existing lines.
