thanks for your answer and the questions: in the typical use case, multiple line items will be updated. Whether all line items or only a subset depends on the user input - but typically not only one line.
You stated "C4C call this service": at what point in time will this happen during the quote processing? Is any configuration needed so that C4C performs this call?
I've extended the BO CustomerQuote already and found the script
ActionValidation-RequestExternalData.absl
But my breakpoint didn't trigger yet and for the action RequestExternalData no explanation is provided.
Where could I hook on for analysis or debugging purposes?
