Further changes to do:
1. In dev client
1.1)Go to payroll txn. Navifgate to system->status. It will show the program name as RPCALCx0. Copy the prog name
1.2)In SE38 enter the prog name.
1.3)Create separate variants for normal simulation payroll and live payroll, making sure the schema name is correct; for simulation only - Test run check box is ticked. Save variants in a transport
1.4)Similarly create variants for off-cycle run - simulation and live payroll
1.5)Go to payroll sim txn, get variant for normal payroll. Check the selection screen is correct - schema name and Test run check box. Similarly get variant for off-cycle run and check sel.screen
1.6)Do as in e) for live payroll - normal and off-cycle.
1.7)Test each of these for one or two employees and ensure payroll results are updated for live runs.
Check the pay results and payslip.
1.8)Payslip may require changes to show the off-cycle run details as in the selection screen.
1.9)Run posting and other reports.
2)Update payroll user guide with documentation of the variants along with the purpose and how/when to use them.
3)Move the transport/s to QA
3.1)and test similarly ion QA.
3.2)Request payroll admin to test providing them the updated payroll user guide.
4)Move the transports to prod.
4.1)Monitor one or two prod pay cycles and review with payroll admin.
