So, you're saying that we should go for scenario 1 when we split up the landscape. Full installation of IPS and DS on top.
Does that mean that we do not re-use any of the Components on the "old" server? There will be a second CMS, Tomcat, everything? Only difference is that the old server has a Business Objects Enterprise installation, and not just IPS.
The current setup has a CMS and Audit user in the Oracle database. I assume that New users should be created for the IPS installation, so that there are two completely separate CMS instances?
(OS is AIX by the way, but it looks like the link is quite useful anyway.)
